So I finally set my deadline. Eeek! I have set half a dozen website opening deadlines in my head only have them pass. This time I posted a countdown timer on my coming soon page and this is all real now.
I am seriously still running around like a chicken with her head cut off though! I have managed to finally accept my latest logo iteration and have posted it around social media. I created my business cards, hang tags and thank you cards and they have been ordered. Just hope they arrive in time.
I think the biggest and most daunting job is to get the products on the website. I still need to take product photos, then edit them with my background, upload them, weigh and measure the products, add that information in each listing and then write descriptions for everything.
And then there’s the elephant in the room, which is my front page. What a mess! I think it needs photos of some sort, but of course, I haven’t really done many photos yet. So that’s a thing still. I’m sure there’s still some minor tweaking that will need to get done before the big day too.
Almost forgot that my spreadsheet needs to be updated to properly track pricing and whatnot as well, so there’s that. Ugh!
I am soooo far behind in my social media posting, so not even sure who might be around for the grand opening. Might just be me staring at the screen waiting for traffic. lol
Very happy that I decided to make a date to be done, but also scared that the perfectionist in me will be disappointed in not having everything PERFECT. Well, wish me luck and mostly speed, to get everything done on time.
